About Chuck
I’m an ÜberBoomer, born in 1958. I’m married with two children, one still living at home. I write a weekly newspaper column called “Chuck’s World” that runs in small papers in Western Washington, and do other freelance writing/editing.
I’ve been, at various times in my life, a small business owner, a stand-up comedian, a high jumper, an actor, a church deacon, a practicing alcoholic, and sort of overweight.
I’m currently working on a new book about my fascinating experiences with working at home, raising an autistic son, being married to a Presbyterian minister, getting sober, and coming to the realization that I will one day be 50.
