I was born in Lynwood, California, on July 26, 1958. I’m a middle kid. 
We moved to Arizona when I was 10, where I grew up and developed an interest in acting. I attended Arizona State University and then Northern Arizona, where I majored in theater and met lots of people I still know.

One of them was my wife, Julie Kae, who had the bad judgment to marry me.
I have two children. Beth was born in 1984
And then she grew up…
…and got married.
My son John was born in 1990. 
He’s now pretty tall.
I write a weekly newspaper column. I do other stuff for money. I walk a lot, watch movies, read nonfiction, and sometimes eat a lot of ice cream. God is not finished with me yet, but then you probably have figured that out.
OH! I almost forgot. I bought a hat in Santa Fe.
