This one is from last March. “The House I Live in.”

So it’s only…what? Months since I talked about doing a podcast?
Well. Talk is cheap. Podcasting is weird.
I’ve had the same conversation lately a few times. It’s regarding things I wrote a while back, and how I left little clues, little breadcrumbs to lead an alert reader to the conclusion that possibly not all was a cheery as I may have let on.
Not on purpose. At least I don’t think so, but then. Who knows how my brain was functioning?
This was originally published in August 2003, and then in my book (which you can, amazingly enough, still buy; over there on the right sidebar). I called it “Loaves and Fishes,” although it would be a few years before I started seeing miracles.
(If the embedded player doesn’t work, you can listen on my podcasting site here.)
The podcast has been postponed; I’m having Internet issues today, and while I can finally connect it’s sort of like using a dial-up modem that’s slightly stoned. Soon.
